Portrait painter Keith Morton joined us in September for a wonderful demonstration of acrylic portraits. A member had to sit – see if you can recognise who it is! His measuring to get the features in the right place was meticulous. He was careful to measure all the angles and connections in the face of the sitter, and using only straight lines he plotted it out and when he painted he did not blend, just put colours next to each other.
