The Spring Exhibition will take place on Saturday May 16th from 10 – 5 and Sunday May 17th from 10 – 4 at the Batchworth Lock Education Centre 99 Church Street Rickmansworth WD3 1JJ

Whether you are an old hand at exhibitions or completely new to it, it is a chance for all members to display their work alongside others.

Obviously there are guidelines to how to approach an exhibition. Essentially, members must complete a ‘handing in’ form which must be submitted in advance so that a catalogue and labels can be prepared. The art works must conform to the rules of exhibiting. Basically these are : no work can be more than 100 cms on longest side, must be original (if there is a reference which was not original, credit must me attributed), must have two hanging points with d rings or screw eyes that lie flat, must have a label attached to the hanging string.

The ‘handing in’ form is here. Please return to Morag Watkins by Friday May 8th. you can bring it to the May meeting or post it or photograph it and email (please lie it flat to photograph – they are hard to read when all creased!!)

Here is publicity you can download and print or send to friends, family neighbours whoever – after all the exhibition will only a success if people know about it!
