About the Society
Ricky Art is for people who love art, who enjoy discovering more about art and who want to be involved in various creative and exciting activities and projects throughout the year.
We include a wide range of creative disciplines within the society, and welcome artists of all standards.
Heather Miller will show us how she tackles a bluebell wood in acrylic paints at our meeting on May 3rd.
Meantime, at our last meeting on April 5th we had a demonstration by Jon Davies of portraits in charcoal. Click here to see a couple of the images.
Demonstrations by experienced artists are on the first Thursday of every month at the Cloisters Hall, The Cloisters, Rickmansworth, Herts WD3 1HL from 7.45 to 10 PM. For further details visit the programmes section.
We have some all day workshops running in the summer. All the details can be found on the workshops page. Any changes will be posted here.
Our website gallery allows members to advertise their work on the internet. Visit this section to find out more. Ricky Art also holds an annual Spring exhibition in May that coincides with Rickmansworth Week and the colourful Canal Festival.
An Autumn Exhibition to coincide with Rickmansworth Winter Fair was held this year. Click here for details.
As well as the demonstrations there is also an opportunity for several sessions of live painting along with visits to galleries and exhibitions. The events and news section gives further details of this year’s diary.
